My friends call me the queen of bargains - and for good reason. No matter what I buy, most of it is at a reduced price. When I'm asked what I'm wearing, I start the sentence with "I bought this item in the sale, it's from...". Almost every time I go to the supermarket, I make it a challenge and try to buy as much as possible on sale. Then I place everything on my dining table and send a photo to family or friends and let them guess how much I paid for everything, and always beat the estimates. I found these beautiful shoes on Vinted. They were in like-new condition and I first looked at the seller's profile, read her (consistently positive) reviews and then contacted her. The shoes were listed at 250 EUR, and I kindly asked if 210 EUR would be okay for her, plus insured shipping. I would always have items with a value of more than 50-100 EUR sent insured.

True story: I had a date with my friend Gabriela in Frankfurt, and I was waiting for her at the Massimo Dutti store. The clothes didn't convince me that day, but the perfumes did. I was particularly taken with the fragrances "Seaside Infusion" and "Sunset Hues", my perfume brand number one is Byredo, and somehow they reminded me of a really high-quality fragrance. The advertised price was 39 Euro, but when I arrived at the checkout the saleswoman told me that this was the Spanish price and the German price was 49 Euro. That kind of annoyed me, as it's the same product. I actually didn't take it (out of principle) and made a firm decision that it would be on sale in the winter. And lo and behold - I got the last item in the store in Zagreb, for 25 Euro. By the way, the fragrances are also available individually in 100ml for the same price.

After I burned my scalp so badly on my Corfu vacation in 2018 and my summer vacation was coming up, I started looking for stylish headwear that I wouldn't sweat so much under (so I immediately excluded dark colors). I've liked the Prada hat for a long time, but the price is absolutely unjustified. That's why I started looking on Vestiaire Collective early on and finally found a version in white, packed in the original box including dust bag. Of course, the hat is still very expensive, but if I no longer like it, I can sell it again without losing any of its value.
